Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our elite ski mountaineering gear.

How do I determine the correct ski length for my height and skill level?

Generally, touring skis should reach between your chin and the top of your head. Beginners or those focusing on technical ascents often prefer shorter skis for maneuverability, while advanced skiers looking for downhill stability should opt for longer lengths.

What is your return policy for mounted skis?

Please note that skis cannot be returned once they have been drilled and mounted with bindings. We recommend double-checking your boot sole length and mounting preferences before finalizing your order.

Do you offer international shipping for HAGAN gear?

Yes, we ship our high-performance mountaineering equipment globally. Shipping costs and delivery timelines vary by destination and will be calculated at checkout.

How should I maintain my climbing skins?

To prolong the life of your skins, always dry them at room temperature (avoid direct heat) and use cheat sheets for long-term storage to protect the adhesive. Re-glue them only when the tackiness significantly diminishes.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and specialized financing options like Affirm to help you gear up for the season.

Are HAGAN products covered by a warranty?

All HAGAN products come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear, rock damage, or improper mounting by third parties.
